3p Science experiment

A few weeks ago, we did an experiment. It was about force and motion. We did it in the classroom. We had to do the experiment in our Science groups. We had to do an investigation planner first. Next we had to do the experiment. We gathered a matchbox, a rubberband and two metre rulers. After that we had to do a graph sheet and a question sheet. Finally we did an explanation about it. I have had lots of fun doing this experiment and I'm glad that we are doing Science for our new learning habit. The experiment went good and I think I should practise pulling the rubberband back.

Dance Cart

5 weeks ago we started Dance Cart. I think we do dance Cart to learn how to dance and for fun. The first dance we did was " The Marmaduke warm up". The next dance was a " Micheal Jackson ". A hippe came to help us with the Micheal Jackson dance. Our concert dance is " Waltzing Matilda ". We have finally finished the Waltzing Matilda dance. We have had lots of fun doing Dance Cart. I LOVE DANCE CART!

Japanese visit

Two days ago,Japanese students came to our school. They did a Japanese presentation for us. They taught us about Japanese stuff like hair extension, green tea and kimono. Kimono is a type of Japanese dress. Jesse and Jacqueline had to try on the dress. When they came in, they looked funny. Did you know that green tea is made out of green leaves!. They did a fantastic and superb presentation. I liked their culture very much. Thank you Japanese students.

Talent extravaganza

We had the talent extravaganza and my sister was in it. She was doing it with her little friend Kasey. My favourite act was " The magic box " . I also liked Saturday night karate. Every one did well but I didn't see it all because I had to go to the optometrist. I enjoyed the show so much I wanted to stay but I had to go to the optometrist for a special reason. Thank you Mrs Haran for organizing the talent extravaganza.

Skipping group visit

A skipping group came to our school. The group's name was Jumping Beans. They showed their routines in the shed. The group was from Beenleigh state school. I could tell that they were excellent at skipping. It was amazing. I think they will come tomorrow and teach classes skipping. It was exciting. Thanks to the Jumping Beans.

Wala visit

An African group came to our school. the group's name was "Wala". They played African music in our shed.We wanted the teachers to dance so the "Wala" group made them dance!. "Wala" means life. We got to ask them questions. I said what are your favrouite hobbies?. The leader said he liked soccer. His brother said he liked soccer too. His sister said she liked singing. At the end we had an African disco. It was lots of fun. Thanks to the "Wala" group.

Wild man visit

"Wild man" was a great Naturalist. He was the coolest man I have ever seen. There were eight different animal groups. There were red-eyed-tree frogs, saltwtaer crocodiles, long-necked turtles, freshwater eels, black morons, froglets, wombats and black swans. There were lots of things to touch, feel and smell. We even got to touch poo! My group was the black swans. I loved everything. I will remember that visit for my whole life.
